Heyloo

Well, I got back from DC friday evening. It was really fun there and I had lots of good times with my friends. I didn’t sleep very well, but oh well, that’s to be expected when you’re sharing a room with three other boys. I’m like so happy that I’m finally back from Washington, DC.  Friday started off at 5:38 when I woke up from the heat in the room and I turned the A/C down to 68F. I went back asleep until 6, when my teacher knocked on the hotel door. Then I got up, showered, got everyone else up (crankily, of course) and headed down off to breakfast.. where I saw that it was snowing outside. From the hotel I went to the FDR Memorial, Iwo Jima Memorial, and Arlington Cemetery. FDR was pretty cool. I wished it was inside though, because being outside in D.C. at 8am is a death wish. I didn’t even get out of the bus at the Iwo Jima Memorial. Har har. And then since it was snowing harder, my teacher gave us the option to stay and go watch the Changing of the Guard Ceremony at Arlington Cemetery, or continue on our way back home to North Carolina. Obviously, no one wanted to go outside, so we started home early. On the way home, I mostly slept, wrote, worked, and listened to music. My language arts teacher came over and started talking to me about what kind of music I liked. It was kind of uncomfortable because she’s like sixty and she didn’t know any of the names of bands/people I was telling her. Then when I got home… I webcammed with muh friend, Clonez. The other days were pretty much just going to museums and memorials, with a ton of walking thrown in. That was kind of bleh, but there’s too much I did to talk about it all. So yeah… that’s pretty much all. xD
