An Illusion
Clonez showed me a very powerful video the other day, and it’s absolutely wonderful. It’s about a robot that keeps getting prettier until it cant anymore. Now, that probably doesn’t sound like much, but that’s because that’s not the point. There is a message under the surface; that people often times try to better themselves, and be somebody else, until they try so hard, that they are never satisfied, that they’re no longer themselves and they break. They ruin themselves and you can’t go back. The sad thing is, everyone is unique and pretty in their own way, and you shouldn’t ever try to be anyone but yourself, because it never ends well.
In the comments for that video, there was one that said to watch a different version of the video instead. So I found that other video and the only difference was there was a song in it. That song made the video even more emotional to me, because it’s about change.
So here’s the video.
I’d like to know what you think, if it’s not too much trouble. I know I love it. (:

Wow. Strong emotion in that video.
It’s true in every way. I get occaisonally picked on by the boys for being smart (not cheeky smart, brainy smart), and they say they are smarter when they get in trouble every day. (Heheh, once, I was with two of those boys writing a definition of division in maths to share with the class. After they bragged about how smart they were (and doing nothing but tease me, I was doing all the work) I gave them the pen, sat down, and told them to teach me. Tehee…)
Ah well. Can’t please everyone with who you are.
Interesting video, and you are dead right about the stuff in this post.

Rebeca likesss! Very emotional…kinda creepy at first but cool.
Wow, I swear, videos like that. I love them. Not exactly this one because its creepy but, I dunnoz why. It has some like, mezmerizing effect on me. I could watch it over and over and over (yes I’m not done yet) and over and over and over and over. Probably just because its so true. Very interesting! Thanks for postying it. =)) Double chin powa! Heheheh.
