–March 31st Update–
I uploaded a TON of new funny April Fool’s pictures in my Funny Pictures tab!
OK, If you’ve seen the movie “I Am Legend” this post is for you, if not, you should definitely see it pronto!
I rented it on DVD last night and watched it. And I realized some things…
- I realized how Marley and Dr. Nevelle’s wife died, I did think they died from the KV disease, watching the movie a second time, I saw that the wife and Marley’s helicopter took off as the bridges were being bombed, then another helicopter took off after the bridges were bombed, but the first helicopter was still ascending, then a bunch of people tried jumping on the second helicopter, causing it to spiral and crash — right into the copter containing Marley and Robert’s wife, how did I miss this?? This helicopter that spiraled and crashed, was shown as he was finishing up golfing on the airplane on the Aircraft Carrier.
- I realized why Marley kept saying “Look Daddy, it’s a butterfly!” Well, number one, it was her last words to her dad, and two, at the end Marley said it again in Robert’s imagination as he was looking at the butterfly tattoo on Anna’s neck.
- I also realized that there was one serious flaw in this movie, Robert did not have to die. He could’ve thrown that grenade from behind the fireplace where Anna and Ethan were hiding, but hey, this could be another reason to Number Two; he wanted to be with his wife and Marley.
- One last thing: I counted how many Macs there was in that movie. There was at least two or three in his lab, the MacBook Pro that he used to do the “Day 1001…” speech thing, and then the one that he took a long to the pier where Marley and his wife took off, and were killed, as explained in Number One.
- Were Anna and Ethan really from Maryland or from the colony?
- What was that thing that was stabbed in his leg after he fell from the Nightseekers’ trap?
I have no idea why the heck I wrote this post, but hey, read my new motto on my header “Your daily fix of CP, Music, Harry Potter, and More“.

P.S. Here is the alternate ending courtesy of Wikipedia:
The tone of the film’s ending was altered dramatically before the film’s release, with the majority of the changes made to the standoff between Neville and the infected in his laboratory. Visual effects supervisor Janek Sirrs recounts the original ending starting with the standoff: “At that point, Neville’s—and the audience’s—assumptions about the nature of these creatures are shown to be incorrect. We see that they have actually retained some of their humanity. There is a very important moment between the alpha male and Neville.” David Schaub stated, “Then, when Neville finally turns the alpha female over to the alpha male, there is this little love moment between the two of them.” The infected then retrieve the captured female and spare Neville’s life. The original final shot follows Neville, Anna and Ethan as they cross the remnants of the George Washington Bridge in hopes of finding other survivors, accompanied by a recording from Anna telling survivors that there is hope.[4]
That is a way better ending.
